He give it to express his gratitude for the gift of a new Bible he had just received from a daring Bible courier. Soon the courier returned to Hong Kong carrying with him the precious, tattered book.

How incredible that this precious book had survived the years of political turmoil and violence as China evolved into the most populated atheistic communistic nation on earth!

First printed around 1914, this rare book combines the four gospels into a biography of Jesus Christ. The 232 pages, which includes a special salvation message and prayer, are written in the older Chinese Traditional script which is used in Hong Kong and Taiwan. It is also available in the simplified script suitable for Mainland Chinese.

Over 200 intricate illustrations portray Jesus Christ as a Chinese person in a Chinese culture. What a powerful way to help the Chinese people understand the love of Jesus, which crosses all cultural and racial boundaries!
